Dear Members,

As you are hopefully aware, over the past year we have been undertaking a large-scale refurbishment of Joe McDermott Park. We’re delighted to report that significant progress has been made. The pitch has been completely realigned, expanded, and resurfaced, while the surrounding grounds have also seen major improvements. Hedges have been removed and replaced with new fencing, reclaiming valuable space and greatly enhancing the overall appearance of the grounds.

While much has been achieved, several key upgrades remain to bring the project to completion, including:

Fundraising efforts have been going well, and we sincerely thank the many businesses and individuals who have already contributed. However, to fully complete the project and deliver facilities that meet the needs of our community, we still face a funding shortfall.
