Curraha and Dunboyne kicked off the action for the opening weekend of the Meath Senior Football Championship as they met in Dunshaughlin on Friday evening.
Dunboyne had the better of the opening exchanges, and raced into a 6 point to 1 lead after 10 minutes, with Podge O'Hanrahan registering Curraha's opening score. 2 points each for Jack O'Connor and Ronan Flynn kept a depleted Curraha in contention but Dunboyne ended the half with a 5 point lead.
Dunboyne continued to apply the pressure after the break, and again registered a number of scores in the early exchanges. Niall McLarnon got on the scoresheet for Curraha, with Diarmuid Moriarty adding 2 more scores, along with a third score of the game for captain Ronan Flynn.
A strong Dunboyne performance kept them a deserved win with a scoreline of 0-20 to Curraha's 0-9.

Next up for Curraha is a trip to Pairc Tailteann to take on Gaeil Colmcille on Saturday 24th August at 6pm
