Curraha travelled to Seneschalstown for their third match of their league campaign on Saturday afternoon.

With a strong gale blowing, the weather conditions were always going to be a big factor in this game. The hosts had the wind at their backs in the opening half, and they used it to good effect as they opened up a 5 point lead over the first 1o minutes. Curraha were well organised, and at times the Seneschalstown struggled to break them down, but with the strong breeze they were able to pick off some fine long range scores. Curraha's only point in the opening half came from a Diarmuid Moriarty free, and they trailed by 10 points to 1 at the break.

Curraha came into it more in the second half with conditions in their favour, but struggled to make a significant dent in the lead the hosts had established. Seneschalstown managed the 2nd half well, and were happy to concede multiple frees far out the field to stop Curraha building any momentum. Diarmuid Moriarty registered 4 2nd half points, adding to scores from James McEntee and Mark Jackson, but a Seneschalstown goal in the 17th minute eased any fears of a comeback.

the hosts ran out winners with a score of 1-11 to 0-7.

Next up for Curraha is a home game against Meath Hill on Saturday April 13.
